was it awful? was it really god awful?
If I were to only let myself compare it with the book, then yes, kind of. The acting was a bit off, the effects got cheesy, the writing went downhill at times. As a movie, though, I rather enjoyed it.
Hence why I have now sat through it 3 times in the span of 24 hours.
