I don't even really want to talk about last night. And what happened when I finished Catcher in the Rye.
So I won't.
I am updating for the sake of updating, so let's see what I can write about...
Alright!
I worked yesterday from 10-3. It was a blast as usual.
Then my dad and I went up to the college to get my school books and such.
THEEEN we spent about an hour and a half in the grocery store. It was such an uncessesary visit, but fun nonetheless.
Taryn got home from band at around 10 and I did nothing but read and watch Running With Scissors until 4:30 AM.
Today shall consist of:
Nothing.
Craft store with my mommy
Bookstore until 7PM
Pineapple Express!!! at 7:40 with Taryn and Elliot

Then tomorrow at 2PM, Lindsey and I are going to see Mamma Mia! I'm way excited about getting to sing along to Abba in a theatre.
I suppose I should shower and switch my laundry.
Oh, fun.

Don't hurt your self singing along to Abba. That would be very unfortunate (and piss-funny).

If I start dancing while I'm singing, then it's definitely a possibility.

lol, i've been ignoring blogger a bit too much recently.
Everybody's decided to remind me i'm at school and that is my top priority. Thus my now secret (very small) rebellion.
And therefor I've been pissed of. And rather extravagantly angst-ish, as duty asks :D!)

It's Summer break over here! :D
I don't start classes until the 21st. Wooo.
Just to get this right...you have a single, very big holiday in Summer?
Yes :]
Some schools are year round with several breaks, but the majority of schools have from sometime in June until whenever school starts (around here, that's the end of August). We also get 2 weeks off for Christmas break and a week off for Spring Break at the end of March.
We also get random holidays off like Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, Columbus Day, Some president's birthdays, etc.
Haha.
What is the school system like there?
we have 4 terms, each about 9 weeks, with a big 5 or 6 week Christmas holiday and then 2 or 3 week holis in between the other three terms. And, umm, the Queens birthday. hu-fucking-ra.
Ahh. That sounds like the year-round schools here.
I wish we called the breaks "holidays," I'm sick of using the term "vacation."
