I do not want to hear a single word. But for a solid month, my sister and I had been obsessing over this movie. I cannot count the amount of times we have watched every single available trailer, or how much time we have spent searching every possible thing that we could find online.
I present to you... The Strangers:
I immediately hate myself for posting the trailer on my blog, for I am now forced to see the image that it is left on each time I view my page.
Before you give me any shit, (which I have already made clear, I do not want to hear) do know that I am a complete baby. I do not watch horror films, and on the off chance that I do, they haunt me for the rest of my life.
Yesterday, the day after it opened in theatres, my dad, sister, and I attended the 1PM showing of this film (I was not about to see it at night anyway).
The month leading up to taking our seats in the theatre and gripping onto my sister's hand for an hour and a half, was ridiculous. I see the man in the mask whenever I step outside into the night, and I hear the "because you were home" tag line at least 10 times a day.
But, I am (somewhat) relieved after seeing this film. No matter how it has left me feeling, it was something that I just had to see and obsess over even more. It has ruined me (and not to mention, I cannot listen to "Sprout and the Bean" by Joanna Newsom anymore which is featured in the movie, as well as the enclosed preview).
To say the least, I was a ball of stress all last night whilst my sister and I were home, alone.
*And for the record, the actor who plays the man in the mask is completely gorgey porgey.
This week, however, will prove to be quite great (or so I'm hoping).
-At some point my mom, her friend, and I will be seeing the Sex and the City movie (finally).
-My parents' band is playing the Billy Bowleg's festival on Friday and I may or may not be playing the accordion part on "The Engine Driver" which yes, my parents' band does cover.
-Saturday is COLOUR REVOLT! It will be my 4th or 5th time seeing them and I am more than excited that despite all of the success they are having, they still come back to this shit hole (well, the shit hole an hour away).
-I may not be going to see Dignan on Thursday due to money troubles, buttttt... I'm starting to see that as being alright. At least I've seen them once.
-Taryn is having the ACE GANG stay the night Friday night. Yes, that includes me and 4 other girls who just so happen to be 13 and 14 years old (shut up).
-I have 3 shifts this week at work (which is better than 2!) and I plan to turn in an application this week at a place I will not speak of yet.
-I have work at 10AM tomorrow, so I'm thinking I shouldn't go to bed at 4AM. Actually, working at 10AM is not a plus side of the upcoming week.
BOOOOO, LAST.FM IS NOT RECORDING ANYTHING THAT I'M LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW. Bastards.

Last FM is finding all kinds of fantastic ways to piss me of at the moment.
So after all that talking you did was the movie (which I've never heard of before) actually any good? naah
Haha. It actually was. I haven't seen a lot of scary films like that because I do my best to avoid them, buttt it was really good. The acting wasn't too bad at all and the concept was done well.
